| Turning my attention to our nearest neighbour in
the heavens, I hope to continue my website astronomy section with a perusal
over the moon's surface highlighting prominent features, and accompanied
with photographs and any information I can obtain. I hope to achieve this
by the use of the aforsaid mentioned method. The picture above was taken
with my slr on a 'T' piece attachment on my telescope- the evening was clear,
but light pollution around me has become prohibitive and I fear that I will have to
go further afield to find content for this page. The time seems to have raced by
and raises that old saying in me- the best laid plans of mice and men. My time now is
totally taken up with writing, of which you may wish appraise yourself of on the
trilogy pages. But it is my fervent hope in the future that I will be able to
devote a bit of time to my hobby, as I have now retired. The old Tal on the previous
page has served me well, though not as intended. On the the horizon is the quest to
invest in a Meade Cassegrain 14" telescope. My plans for that are extensive,
But an initial period of research is needed on my part to come to terms with the
light-pollution around me. So if anyone out there has found a solution- please share
it with me. |
